Anonymous, the world's largest hacking group, united by anti-censorship ideals, turned vigilante to track and expose the man who allegedly posted the photographs and continued to harass the teenager via Facebook.
i think its a great thing that this man has been identified. he deserves a life of hell.
i still think it is disgusting that people are still giving her hate after shes killed herself and especially that it is on her memorial pages. it is inhumane.
some people are just plain horrible people who only care about them selves.
I think it was a good idea because then everyone can know who wrecked Amanda's life and can give him hell! I think its stupid how people still give her soo much hate even if she is dead. People should just leave her alone! Rip Amanda Todd <3
i believe that anonymous has done the right thing and should also help in bringing down the people that create these other horrible pictures of her after her death, they should also help other cyber bullied victims (other suicide victims) in helping to find justice. hope his heart-less man and all the other people who are still tormenting amanda just the justice they deserve.
yes the anonymous did the right thing because they will catch him and make him get punished and that i hope they will punish him like how Amanda Todd got punished
yes, anonymous did the right thing know the guy can feel how it is to be outed to be judged every day to have no one want to befriend him and talking behind his back.
what he did to Amada wasnt right and karma will get back at him
anonymous have done bad things in the past but, this is there best work! tracking a man who put a young girl in pian through hell "anonymous keep up the good work!"
Yes because Anonymous helped Amanda and other people who might get hurt by the 30 year old in future by tracking him. He has stopped a very dangerous man from proceeding in his wrong doings.
Courtney and i think that this group did the right thing by tracking this sick man who has scared this young girl so badly that the only thing she could do is self harm and kill herself.
R.I.P Amanda Todd your beautiful and i hope this guy never forgets what he has done to you <3
yes, anonymous did the right thing now the guy can feel how it is to be outed to be judged every day to have no-one wants to be friends with him and talking behind his back. what he did to Amanda Todd wasn't right and karma will get back at him
Yes because everyone needs to know who did this to Amanda and that the man who did this should get what he deserves from the public and family. His life is going to be hell for what he did. No one will ever forget this and he will never be forgiven!
Concerningly, the announcement led to a number of hate pages being established online, targeting her alleged harasser.
revenge is never good because that means you are still hurting people and there family and friends, but on the other hand revenge is nice for some people to see the pain they are going through by loosing someone they love.
Courtney and i agree with josh michael... fighting this guy wont make anything better but at the same time he deserves what ever he get because in our eyes pay back is a b****, no one deserves what she went through <3
R.I.P Amanda Todd
Yes and No.. Revenge doesn't always solve our problems in life, but what ever this man gets he deserves after what he put young Amanda Todd through -.-
people are probably happy she killed herself but why would they hate her still
she probably killed her self to make everything better but she would of grown up
and she would of had an awesome life apart for her horrible childhood!
because people think its funny and its all a joke but i reality someone taking their own life is very serious and alto of grief is inflicted on the family. i would like to see the people doing these "hate campaigns" on Facebook and the internet to lose one of their loved ones and feel what there family went through.
yes, parents should protect their kids, but at the time they didnt know about the pedophile but at the time they didnt know this man or even who he was. and if amanda just wanted to forget her past then her parents should of understood that. people like amanda learn to hide how they feel until its to late.
They are still continuing the hate campaign because they know that she did wrong by adding the stranger, flashing the pic, going out with a guy who already has a girlfriend and by committing suicide. After making so many mistakes, for some people, she deserved everything that happened to her.
Some people don't realise that what they are doing and have done, has caused a girl to take her own life. Even after she is gone people continue to ''have a go at her'' in order to keep getting the attention.
courtney and i think people are continuing the hate towards her because they think that she took the easy way out of it and that she did the wrong thing but to tell the truth i bet no one could what she had to and still be alive today.. R.I.P Amanda Todd
In a sick twist, the vile attacks which led to her death have continued with Facebook memorial pages being defaced with cruel jibes and a topless photo of her being circulated online
They should share her video of how she went through life being bullied to show what bullying leads to. Everyone should have left her alone then she wouldn't have committed suicide but that's how society is these days, leading to more deaths caused by bullying. Suicide is becoming a common thing, now days.
I think that some part of it is sad but it seems like its the girl's own fault. Murder is another thing but suicide is your own fault because she could have faced her problem instead or never added the bully. At least, if she had already added the person who bullies her, she could have blocked the person instantly.
some mean and selfish people don't realize how such a little thing can lead to something so big. she was only young and had her whole life a head of her but now her life's over
Word can be hurtful if taken in and fully taken in. it really depends on what has been said, is what is said is not really that harsh then the affect won't be that bad but if what is said is quite harsh it can have a bad affect.
i think the guy that did this to her is a sick and dirty boy she is such a beautiful girl! :( just cause she made a mistake in life doesn't mean she had to take her own life R.I.P Amanda :(
no one deserves to be treated this way over just one mistake, suicide isn't cowardly, the cowardly person in this situation is the man who caused all this and all the kids who threw the horrible insults at the poor girls.
people need to respect others and their feelings, this is horrible ): poor girl, didn't deserve any of it over 1 mistake. suicide doesn't help much, but it came to the point where she couldnt take it anymore. rest in paradise beautiful<3
This is the most horrifying and saddest thing i have EVER heard about!!! I can't believe people are this cruel and horrible! And plus shes already gone so why do you still need to bully her? it's just stupid.... I never thought people can be so horrible.. it's not right.. and to the people being cruel to her how would you feel if all this stuff was happening to you? you would hate it just as much as she did so maybe you should think twice before you say horrible stuff to people.
R.I.P Amanda <3 you are beautiful~ xxxxxxxxx
This shows how sick people are these days. I went onto youtube a few days back and it made me rage when i saw people saying that she deserved it. R.I.P Amanda Tood <3
A month before her death, the Canadian teen outlined her three-year bullying ordeal in a silent YouTube video titled "My story: Struggling, bullying, suicide, self harm" using handwritten notes.
Yes, because if another person is being bullied they can watch the video and comment saying they are being bullied to and it can be used in an anti bullying campaign.
Yes because it creates interest for the viewer to see the video knowing its done in an unique way and people wont judge her just by looking at her or her attitude and expressions. It also helps the victim be more confident when expressing herself and also makes the victims of bullying express themselves by commenting and standing by the video or her.
yes because it could raise awareness of the situation and also could help prevent a death if the comments are positive, but it could also make the situation worse if the comments are negative and hurtful!
yes, it shows that a lot of hurtful words that people think is just a "joke" can really hurt someone, it tells her story and the way that what people really did/said effected her.
yeaah, because it shows what actually happens to people and everyone hears her side of the story & how its affecting her.
also someone could of helped her.
"I think the video should be shared and used as an anti-bullying tool. That is what my daughter would have wanted."
it shows words can be hurtful and it can take a life, it should be showed more and shared to help others by telling someone about their thoughts of what they have been feeling and people can relate to it.
I think this would be a good idea because the video can show people how bullying can effect others and may lead to self harm, drugs etc... I also think this video would be very effective because the story behind it is true.
people don't understand the most simple words can effect someones emotional life and health. 3 people die from suicide each minute, that's 30 people in ten minutes, and every one in free people suffer from depression, half of the time due to bullying.
this is sick why would you continue this disgusting behaviour this is not acceptable she is in a better place and you are still making her parents life a living her with all the hate on the posts, pages and photos give this family a break!
