This is Interesting... - 3 views

It's a really interesting way of interpreting history, isn't it? Makes you think more critically about the perpetrators of horrific atrocities!

Carl Jung - The Shadow - 2 views

The abstract for this article on its page is "Jung identified the Shadow as one of the four principle archetypes of the collectiveunconscious. It is composed of the dark elements of the personality, having an emotional and primitive nature which resists moral control." It's only two pages and gives a pretty in-depth outline of Jung's concept of the shadow :)

We're not studying Johnson, by the way, but he does have some interesting things to say about it ... I personally think his stuff is too preachy and really is a bit of pop-psychology.

Shadow Projection - Carl Jung - 0 views

This video has a lot to offer and took me a few views to really take in all the information. It touches on how Jung believed we're constantly going behind our own back and that we are our own worst enemy. The video goes on to explain how the shadow is protrayed to be the opposite side to our ego. Towards the end, the narrator goes on to say that although Jung was referring to a specific section of the unconscious, all that is unknown within the ego often gets confused to the shadow. Great video, a lot of knowledge in a short period of time!

This is a film that tries to portray the tumultuous relationship between Freud and Jung ... might be worth watching to get your head around these important guys. Please keep in mind that this is an artistic interpretation of real people and events!
