Technology Integration Matrix - 5 views

This is a good way to do intensive planning to integrate technology into your classroom, or to plan technology lessons. It is a K-12 resource and includes video examples of classrooms.

What a great reference tool for any teacher, not just technology users.

Wow! This is seriously a great planning resource. This should be utilized for this course, as an additional resource to look at how to more effectively integrate some of the technology we are learning about into our own lesson planning. I am bookmarking this onto my own lists, right now. Obviously a tool for teachers more than for students, I will be using this for a unit planning assignment I'm doing in my Human Relations course right now! Thanks for sharing!

Free Technology for Teachers: 5 Sources of Free Sound Effects and Music - 2 views

It's always great to have sources for free sound effects and music.

I agree that this could be used in the future classroom because I could use songs to get my students engaged in my lessons. I could download a song with lyrics that have the concepts of one of the units we are currently working on. I also think this is strictly for teacher use because they are the ones presenting it to the students in order to get them engaged. I have never heard of any other resource close to this!

Great list of educational resources and collaboration amongst educators.

Giant resource for Web 2.0 tools, blogs, special interest groups, and more

I think this resource is strictly for teachers who are interested in communicative technologies in the classroom, however, it could also be used for students of the college level because they can get on and have discussions and share ideas about different uses for these technologies in the classroom. This could be used in my future classroom with sharing ideas with other teachers to use them with my students! This kind of reminds me of the Facebook of communicative technologies.

Great tool to help with discussions to avoid sidebars. Allows students to make comments or ask questions that can be addressed at a later.

I used this tool, in addition to Twitter, for technology training to introduce the idea of backchannels for K-12 administrators. They loved it.

I think this could effectively be used in a virtual classroom in my future because my students could get on with their presentation, have it available for viewing by me and his or her classmates, and I can get on and edit it if needed. I believe this resource is for both teacher and student use, as students must get on with their presentations, or the teacher could, and they could make comments and give feedback on one anothers' work. This reminds me a lot of Adobe Connect!
