  • What's changed is what we've put in the storm's way. Crowding together in coastal cities puts us at risk on a few levels.

      I agree with this because if we didn't consruct unsafe structures, more people would survive. The human civilization creates sky scrapers and cheap buildings that only add to the cost in damages. People who live directly on the beach or on hills put themselves in danger. Disaters will always be around, but if buildings are constructed in a better manner, then when a disaster comes, it won't be so bad.
