CARE for Teachers promotes core skills and dispositions teachers need to create and maintain supportive learning environments while retaining their well-being and love of teaching.

* Teaching Channel is a great place for teachers to go to watch videos about common core standards or lessons from other teachers. It is free and it has so many things that are beneficial to teachers. You can bookmark different videos or lesson plans so that you can go back to them whenever you want to. You have a question and answer board so that you can ask questions to other teachers or answer questions that other teachers have asked. You can choose your subject and grade level and the website will notify you of new videos that are related to your subject interests.

Turtle Diary is a great way for students to get their hands-on experience in the many subjects they are learning. There are games for the students, but also worksheets that go with the games for the teachers to print out for them to do when not able to get on the computer. This website is focused on the lower levels of PreK thru 2nd.

This site offers hands on learning for all subjects, I only bookmarked the reading page because that is what I want to teach.

Knowledge adventure is a great way for students to get hands on experience in many subjects. There are games and activities for each subject and grade level. The games are fun and addicting. This is a great way for struggling students to gain extra practice in areas that they typically have trouble with.

Teacher scholastic provides many activities for any grade level and subject area. This applies to standard 6.1 because it allows teachers and students to use technology in the classroom to do different activities and/or practice what they are learning so they can learn the material better and the teacher can teach it more efficiently.

I chose Microsoft Mouse Mischief because it is interactive. It allows the teacher and students to interact with the lesson and eachother and makes learning fun and easy. There is something for teacher and student. It is a program that allows teachers to make PowerPoints interactive by asking question and with wireless mouses students select answers. It also shows the teacher which students or groups of students answered correctly or incorrectly. My standard is 6.1, which states that candidates intergrate instructional technology to facilitate learning in the classroom to supplement instructional strategies, to design instructional materials, and to enhance hands-on expierences and problem solving. I believe that this program is great for this standard. It is hands-on, interactive, uses technology, and ask the students for problem solving and quick thinking. I found that this website could be quite beneficial for Students of all ages; especially those who struggle with technology. The site offers tons of tools to help students technologically in all subjects and points of emphasis in education. For example, there are tools for creating powerpoints, writing papers, and making music just to name a few. I am excited to show my classroom students this helpful tool!

This is a great website with many fun games. It addresses standard 6.1 because students can get hands on experience through playing the many games. This is a wonderful website and it is FREE! Students can study and learn their word lists using vocabulary and spelling learning activities and games. Students can take final or practice spelling and vocabulary tests right on this engaging site.You can also become a Premium member and access Premium games and automated student record keeping.

This Youtube channel mixes modern songs and historical events, making tricky subjects, such as the French Revolution, into a catchy, memorable study tool. Teachers can meet standard 6.1 by incorporating these songs as a type of instructional technology to help facilitate learning in the classroom.

This website provides unlimited materials to teachers, students, and parents. It encourages improvment in every subject area through worksheets, games, posters, etc. This is fun and very helpful.

This website has a multitude of different pages which encompasses nearly every subject a History Teacher will ever teach.

With collaborize classroom I feel is one website that can really help students participate more with their classmates. Especially for students taht are shy and do not like to talk in front of others.

This is a new way for teachers to monitor their classroom and keep in touch with parents on how their child is preforming in the classroom. This a great way for teachers to change the way they communicate with the parents and students about what their behaviors. This website is free and can be customized to all your needs!

This site allows both the teacher and student to watch hundreds of free documentaries. It gives the teacher a opportunity to learn about various topics they may be presenting in class it also gives the student the ability to watch quality documentaries assigned by the teacher without having to do so in the classroom. Students and teachers can use ipads, iphones, androids, kindle,xbox and many other devices. There are also opportunites to submit your own documentary which could be used as a class project to change and expand the educational practices of both student and teachers. Previews to assigned films can be embeded in a teacher's website or blog.
